About Dave
Dave Franckowiak is a senior financial executive with a successful track record of leading accounting and finance teams in publicly traded, private equity owned and privately held organizations. Financial leadership experience includes positions of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with small and mid-size companies with strong focus on controls and governance, as well as Director level assignments with very large firms. Industry background includes professional services, distribution, building products, telecommunications and biotechnology. BS and Masters in Accounting, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with Big Four public accounting and public company experience, including Sarbanes-Oxley.
Dave is currently CFO of Grenzebach Glier and Associates (GG+A). GG+A is the leading international consultant to fundraising institutions and organizations of all sizes and the foremost authority on fundraising best practices. Our goal is to assist our clients to build extraordinary fundraising programs for long-term, sustainable philanthropy that will have a significant impact on their missions. Dave leads the financial and core operational areas of the firm including strategic planning, financial and management reporting, consulting services, cash management and banking, information technology, human resources, legal, accounting and tax. He also provides broad financial leadership and guidance to management and consultants for the infrastructure supporting consulting and services to clients.
Previously, Dave was CFO of ap+m, a stocking distributor for aeroderivative gas turbine engines and Closet Works, the Custom Closet leader in Chicagoland. Both companies are owned by Pfingsten Partners, an operationally focused private equity firm founded in 1989.
