Dave Franckowiak's Website




Dave Franckowiak is a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for middle market companies.  Dave is currently CFO of B-O-F Corporation.  B-O-F is a leading inventor, patent-holder and designer of innovative gravity flow shelving products that help grocery stores, drug stores, liquor stores, superstores, and convenience stores sell more dairy and beverage with fewer labor costs.

Previously, Dave was VP Finance & Corporate Controller for MW Industries, Inc. (MWI). MW Industries is a private equity owned premier manufacturer of industrial springs, fasteners, machined parts and flat-stamped spring-related products that make machines, engines, and complex sub-assemblies work harder, better, longer, and faster. MWI was owned by Genstar Capital, LLC, a middle market private equity firm.

Dave started his career with in audit with PricewaterhouseCoopers and then held senior financial executive roles in public and private middle market companies. In 2007, he was hired as CFO of Closet Works, the Custom Closet leader in Chicagoland, when they were acquired by Pfingsten Partners, an operationally focused private equity firm.

Dave received his BS and Masters in Accounting from DePaul University.  He continues his passion for accounting education as adjunct professor at DePaul and President of Board of Directors of Ledger & Quill giving society.

Dave's other passion is sailing.  Jean and Dave are members of the Maxinkuckee Yacht Club and Dave is Past Commodore, Chief Scorer and Webmaster.  Jean and Dave also service on the fundraising committee of the Lake Maxinkuckee Environmental Fund.
